Even so, she is obstinate to leave Happiness House before it destroys her.

A street boy who sells tea and other items on the street visits the bagnio on a regular basis to try and engage Lakshmi in conversation. She does not buy anything from him, but he notices that she is different from the other girls in the bordello. He begins to follow her and tries to talk to her more.

But Lakshmi refuses to give in to his advances. Her champion, Anita, tells her that it is his way of showing his tenderness for her. Eventually, he gives her an earring as a keepsake of his love.

Meanwhile, Malishka continues to make trouble for Lakshmi. She invites Balvinder to the Oberoi Mansion in an undertake to harm Lakshmi’s reputation. But Lakshmi confronts him and slaps him. Moreover, she also tells him that he cannot take her with him because she is significant with his child. This makes Malishka overjealous.
