The tournament starts June 11. As of early 2026, only the Last-Minute Sales Phase and the official resale marketplace remain as official options. Here is why acting now is essential.
THE WINDOW IS NEARLY CLOSED
Three of FIFA's four official primary sales phases are complete. Only the Last-Minute Phase in early April 2026 remains. After this phase closes, the only official access is through the Resale Marketplace for sporadic individual listings and hospitality packages through On Location as long as inventory lasts.
PRICES WILL NOT FALL FOR POPULAR GAMES
The notion that waiting makes World Cup 2026 Tickets drop is wrong for the most in-demand games. With fixed supply and extraordinary demand for USA, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, England and Final-related games, prices tend to increase as the tournament approaches and the bracket becomes clearer.
For lower-demand games, prices on secondary platforms may soften slightly. But this is not a reliable planning assumption.
THE APRIL 2 RESALE MARKETPLACE OPPORTUNITY
The FIFA Resale Marketplace reopens April 2, 2026. This is the most immediate official opportunity. Check the platform from April 2 daily for listings. Ticket holders who cannot attend often list as the tournament nears. Act the moment you see a listing for your target game.
WHAT TO DO TODAY
If you have not already:
1. Create your FIFA ID at FIFA.com.
2. Save your payment method to your account.
3. Download the FIFA app.
4. Research secondary market prices on StubHub and SeatGeek for your target games.
5. Contact your national football federation about Supporter Entry Tier eligibility.
6. Set a calendar alert for the Last-Minute Phase opening in early April 2026.
7. Set a calendar alert for April 2, 2026 when the FIFA Resale Marketplace reopens.
Every day of delay increases competition for whatever limited inventory remains.
